Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan isn’t having a favourable time with his movies these days. His biggest release of 2015 ‘Dilwale’ failed to impress the audience. Similarly his last release ‘Fan’, which was also one of the most talked about movies of 2016, couldn’t perform as expected at the box office.
And now it looks like, the actor is facing some difficulties with his forthcoming movie ‘Raees’ as well.
As per the recent buzz, the release of ‘Raees’ might get postponed to 2017 as the makers are not getting a suitable date for the release.
According to the media reports, earlier it was speculated that SRK’s ‘Raees’ will clash with Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ on Eid this year. However, King Khan, reportedly, doesn’t want the two movies to clash at the box office.
With Salman’s ‘Sultan’ hitting the theatres on Eid, SRK is apparently planning to release the movie on some other festival.
If the gossip mongers are to be believed, King Khan is looking at January 26 for the release of ‘Raees’.
But this date too won’t come easy for the ‘Don’ actor as January 26 is already booked for the release of Hrithik Roshan-Yami Gautam starrer ‘Kaabil’.
“Shah Rukh is looking to postpone his film to 2017. He wants the date, January 26. But there is another film on that date. Hrithik Roshan’s home production Kaabil, directed by Sanjay Gupta. SRK has had a word with the Roshans. There are not many choices left. And he cannot indefinitely postpone the film. He has to take a call soon,”
a source reportedly told an entertainment portal.
It is also reported that Shah Rukh was also looking for Christmas for ‘Raees’. However, this option was also not feasible for Badshah as Aamir Khan will be hitting the silver screen with Dangal on December 23.
Now we wonder if Shah Rukh Khan will find a suitable date for the release of ‘Raees’ this year or will he have to postpone the release to 2017.
